Volunteer for the Tucson Conquistadores Classic and be part of one of the most unique experiences in sports. You’ll play an integral role in staging a premier golf event, experience the camaraderie of working alongside a terrific team, and showcase the passion and generosity of this community. Your hard work and dedication contributes to the overall goal of the Tucson Conquistadores, which is to support local youth charities.
Volunteers are assigned to a variety of committees, performing the many tasks required to conduct a Champions Tour event. We will do our best to accommodate placing you in one of your preferred committees. Once you have been assigned a committee you will receive an email with further information that will be followed up by a direct communication from your committee chair.
For most committees there are two (2) shifts per day, the morning or AM shift and the afternoon or PM shift, but some groups have mandatory shifts and may also require additional training.

Alcon is proud to partner with the Tucson Conquistadores Classic this year – and we want to thank each and every volunteer for your valuable time and efforts here at the Omni Tucson National Resort. None of this would happen without you!
As the global leader in eye care, we know how important eyesight is when it comes to playing golf. Whether you’re following your drive off the tee or spotting a distant pin, impaired vision can have a big impact on your game.
That’s why they are educating Tucson Conquistadores Classic goers about cataracts – the most common age-related eye condition and the leading cause of preventable blindness in adults 55 and older in the US.1 They are also spreading the word about an available surgical option that can correct both cataracts and astigmatism at once, allowing folks to get clearer vision and get back to seeing the things they love – like the golf course.
So keep your eyes peeled for our two “birdies” – Andy Astigmatism and Cathy Cataract. They’ll be welcoming tournament goers at our Expo tent and showcased at various other tournament venues – including, of course, the volunteer tent. And be sure to visit www.Get2Birdies.com to learn more about cataracts and additional information to discuss 2-in-1 treatment options with your eye doctor.
