Can I buy tickets at the gate?

If available, general admission and Conquistador Club tickets can be purchased at the gate with cash or credit card.

Can I bring children to the tournament?

Children 17 and under are admitted free to the tournament when accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Please make sure to walk away from play if your child gets fussy as to not disturb the golfers. We encourage parents with young children to bring umbrella strollers since they are easier to maneuver around the course. Diaper bags (including bottles, juice are snacks) are permitted but will be checked at security points for weapons.

Can I bring a bag chair to the tournament?

Yes, the folding chairs that come in bag sleeves are permitted but the bags they come in are not. Please leave the bag sleeve at home or in your car before boarding the shuttles.

What do I wear?

Be sure to check the weather forecast in order to determine your outfit for the day. Always bring a rain jacket or poncho and wear light colored and cool clothing on hot and mostly sunny days. Also, be sure to wear comfortable shoes, preferably with flat soles in order to avoid injury that may result due to uneven terrain (and yes, many do wear golf shoes). Don’t forget your sunscreen!

What is the cell phone policy?

Please SILENCE your mobile phone. Calls are only permitted in designated areas.

What is the photo policy?

Photos permitted during Practice Rounds and on Pro-Am days (Monday-Thursday). No photographs are permitted after Thursday; no video recording at any time.

When are the best times to get autographs?

Playing in the Jose Cuervo Pro-Am is a sure way to get autographs, great photos and more. Otherwise, all day on Monday and Tuesday (practice rounds) and after the competitive rounds, hang out at the driving range and near the practice putting green. Players are much more apt to stop and sign in these areas as opposed to when they're on the course. During the practice and Pro-Am rounds, follow the same group for several holes. You'd be surprised how often a player will make a point to thank you for following along all day. Just be respectful, creative and bring a Sharpie.

Will I be able to watch college basketball?

The private Conquistador Club is the perfect place to watch college basketball, catch some golf and relax with friends and family. Televisions will also be located in other public areas.

I am disabled. Will I have access to and the ability to move about the tournament?

Dedicated wheelchair-accessible buses will shuttle disabled persons and their guests to the tournament from designated parking areas. Disabled parking is offered at Pima Community College, Northwest Campus, must have proper Arizona handicap credentials. On the course, there is also reserved handicapped seating located on specific holes (check spectator guide upon arrival). Pedestrian paths (cart paths) throughout the course can accommodate wheelchairs.

What is the severe weather policy for the Tucson Conquistadores Classic?

Pertinent weather information will be provided in the Daily Pairings Guide. In the event of thunderstorms, lightning, or other severe weather, "Weather Warning" information will be displayed on the electronic scoreboards around the golf course. When these warnings appear, spectators should take precautions and seek shelter, even before play is suspended. If the siren sounds suspending play, seek shelter immediately. The electronic scoreboards will keep spectators advised of the length of delay in play.

What is proper spectator etiquette?

  • Watch a golf game with quiet intent. The game requires a lot of concentration on the part of the athletes, and they deserve a solemn atmosphere while hitting.
  • Follow proper etiquette by using only the crossing points designated to move across fairways. Never do so during play and always check to make sure the players have advanced before crossing.
  • Stand behind those sitting along fairway ropes. It is not proper etiquette to stand in front of anyone sitting when observing a golf game.
  • Walk briskly when observing a golf game only if you must. Typically though, you can slowly walk to follow your favorite golfer in plenty of time to see each shot clearly.
